![]() ![]() ![]() Liz Saxton tackled the role of the straight-laced spinster with relish and H Connolly as the doctor became increasingly neurotic as the play progressed. The play is based on the old nursery rhyme and provides a good range of characters in the 10 guests who are systematically murdered. The action was smooth and well planned and if an occasional prompt was needed the cast were experienced enough to cover it very successfully. ![]() The audience was not to be disappointed, and the play proved a great success for producer Mary Warrington in her first solo production. A combination of a popular choice of play and the excellent reputation of the Players ensured that tickets sold like hot cakes. The Coronation Hall at Compton was packed last week when Compton Players presented their latest production, Ten Little Nigger Boys by Agatha Christie. ![]()
